This isn’t amazon.com, there's no shopping cart here, our only inventory is a pile of wood. Whatever you buy from us is handcrafted just for you, which can only begin after you order it. Sometimes the process also includes locating the right wood, and that can take time, too.

Made-to-fit items. Everything else is made to fit. You may know exactly what you want, or you may want to hear about options. Either way, the decision process is more involved.

Step 2: We communicate. We’ll need to discuss design options. Email is a good start, but phone calls are necessary. We will reconfirm our conversation in a follow-up email with the costs for three things: drawing plans, completing the project and shipping.

Step 3: You say yes. If you agree to proceed, we then create a set of plans and check for the availability of your wood preference. The plans are sent to you by email in PDF format for your approval.

Step 4: You say yes again. Once you approve the plans and send a deposit for materials, we start to build your piece. As things move on, we’ll try to send you photos of the progress. Once we begin, changes may be possible but usually not.

Step 5: It arrives at your door. Shipping options depend on project size and your distance from New Canaan, CT. If you’re within around 200 miles we often deliver large pieces ourselves. Otherwise delivery method depends on the size of the piece.
